BERMUDA TRIANGLES/ DIAMOND BLACK HEARTED BOY 2010 East Coast Tour
BERMUDA TRIANGLES :: started as the solo project of front man Jason Hodges, and has now evolved brick by solid brick into the four member pyramid they are now. Heavy influence with that 'neo-tribal' drum sound, there's some drastic feelings that get in touch with primal urges. I saw them sharing the bill with Abe Vigoda at the amazingly weird Plaza Bowl (RVA) for the first and only time so far, and am very excited to see how much farther they have come. ALSO to be released any moment is their REPTILIAN INTERVENTIONS LP on CNP RECORDSDIAMOND BLACK HEARTED BOY :: I saw one form of the dark entity that is Chino Amobi when he played with MAHJONGG and Narwhalz (Of Sound) @ the Outback Lodge in Feb. 2009. He was so great. Throwing down with broken beats and art punk attitude. He yelled at you with a megaphone, and I can still vividly hear his words "NEW WORLD ORDER, NEW WORLD ORDER"/// he's gonna bring it, it's just a matter of time.
