Dark Sister is also playing and are a real awesome psyched out rock project that while not hip hop is also super baller.

Killer shoegaze rock that has been kicking it mad real for the last couple years in CVILLE and are doing their record release at a very awesome new bar/venue "Black Market Moto Saloon". War Tempest is also playing who i dont know much about but im almost positive they are a local rock group.

Real awesome minimal synth action that is going on their first east coast run and are playing a very special set in richmond. Also on the bill and two of the best local acts in Richmond at the moment. Mutwawa is the best of the noise dance game, while Diamond Black Hearted Boy who i havent seen in a while is still kicking thouse internet rhythm jams that are just mind blowing. Definitly one not to miss folks.

One of the many indie pysch acts that have kicking out for the last 5 years or so. Yeasayer being one of the more interesting of the bunch with their combination of solid rhythms and David Byrne like vocals.  Also on the bill is Delicate Steve who does worldly electornic music that was pretty killer when I saw him play at Strange Matter back in March. I'm not really the hugest fan of The National but this one definitly looks to be a promosing show.

Los Campesinos! is an indie pop dance trio that I honestly havent listned to much but it seems to be as energetic as it is poppy and some of my friends sweat by them. Also on the bill is Yellow Ostrich who is a fialry interesting amiericana indie folk act that seems to be worth checking out of if you feel like checking out a fairly solid rounded polished show.

Gonna be real with you guys, I've never been that huge of a fan of Explosions In The Sky. They always seemed like a poor mans version of God Speed You Black Emperor. However while im not giving them that great of an adosment I do realize that they have something of a fan base and this is still a worthwhile show due to who is opening it. Zammuto is the new project from the dissovlment of The Books, which might be the most interesting work coming from that artistic field in quite some time. If you have he high money for this show it just might be one that is worth your time.

The Young is very sweet dereanged psyched out garage rock that is as solid in production as it is caothic. Also playing is Purling Hiss, a sweet garage rock act from Philadelphia that i believe used to be Kurt Vile's backing band.. Rounding out the bill is The Diamond Center, one of Richmond best rock acts that seems to just be getting better as they gain that blogger buzz.

I caught White Lung in richmond last summer and they put on from what i recall a very fun and energetic femaled brated punk set that took the energy of their reocrds and captured it quite well with their shows. Also on the bill are what I believe to be three richmond local punk bands. So yeah i aint no expert on whats going on in punk but I do know this is going to be quite an awesome show.
